OverviewWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Engineering Technician to join our client\’s team in Irlam. Our client is a leading bottling company in the industry, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on bottling machines and industrial equipment.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner.

Carry out repairs and replace faulty components as necessary.

Complete preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimise machine performance.

Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Keep accurate maintenance records and document any changes or updates made.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician in a bottling or industrial setting.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex faults.

Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating proactive and flexible approach.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

Salary & BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive annual salary between £44,000 and £48,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a permanent, full-time day shift role, providing stability and long-term career prospects.
