About the Role

We're looking for an experienced HRIS Manager / HR Systems Manager to join our HR Services team on a 6-month assignment. Reporting to the HR Services Director, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing our HR systems landscape, ensuring it continues to meet business needs and deliver an excellent user experience. This role will suit someone with a strong background in HR systems administration, HR data management and reporting, who enjoys working closely with stakeholders across HR, IT and the wider business to drive continuous improvement. You will play a key role in maintaining system performance, supporting system enhancements, improving data quality and helping to maximise the value of our HR technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR systems administration and support
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades and continuous improvement activities
  • Coordinate and participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and release activities
  • Develop and maintain HR reporting, dashboards and people analytics
  • Ensure robust HR data governance, data quality and compliance standards are maintained
  • Work closely with HR, IT and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and implement improvements
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes
  • Provide guidance and support to system users across the organisation
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures and user guides
  • Support change initiatives and the adoption of new system functionality
  • Monitor system performance and help drive improvements to user experience

About You

You will have previous experience working within an HR Systems, HRIS or People Systems environment and be confident managing HR data, reporting and system administration activities. You will be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and have a proactive approach to identifying improvements and solving problems.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in an HRIS Manager, HR Systems Manager, HR Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst or similar role
  • Experience supporting and administering HR systems
  • Strong understanding of HR data management, reporting and data governance principles
  • Experience producing HR reports, dashboards and management information
  • Exposure to system testing, UAT and change activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across HR, IT and the wider business
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other enterprise HR systems
  • Knowledge of Employee Central or similar core HR platforms
  • Experience supporting system configuration and optimisation activities
  • Exposure to HR systems integrations and interfaces
  • Experience working within a global or multi-site organisation
  • Power BI or other data visualisation tools
  • Experience working with third-party system providers and vendors

Working Pattern

Hybrid working: 3 days office / 2 days home Manchester office location Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm
