Role Overview
We are currently recruiting a reliable and safety‑conscious Driver & Warehouse Operative to join a logistics team based in Salford Quays. The successful candidate will transport goods and equipment between sites, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect and deliver goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures
- Load and unload items with care, ensuring proper handling
- Keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained, reporting any issues promptly
- Warehouse duties: collate bulk orders for delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Valid UK driver’s licence (maximum of 3 penalty points)
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is desirable
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Physically able to handle goods of varying sizes and weights safely
