Adecco is working with a respected local manufacturing business that is opening its doors to experienced production professionals. This invite only open day will give suitable candidates the opportunity to:

We are seeking experienced Machine Operators and Production Line Operators who understand the importance of safety, quality, efficiency and teamwork within a busy manufacturing environment. Both 12 hour day shifts and 12 hour night shifts are available. Salaries range from £27,000 to £35,000 depending on experience and whether you work days or nights.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation and Asset Care
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Complete selected preventive maintenance tasks
- Support machine performance and reliability
- Identify faults and raise concerns promptly
- Help reduce downtime and maintain production output
Health and Safety
- Promote a strong safety culture across the production floor
- Follow all PPE, LOTO, knife safety and site procedures
- Complete risk assessments where required
- Report incidents and submit near miss information
- Participate in 6S inspections and safety improvements
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area
Quality Assurance
- Ensure only correctly calibrated equipment is used
- Complete quality checks throughout the production process
- Support product testing and SOP development
- Identify and manage questionable or nonconforming stock
- Ensure finished products meet the required specifications
Materials and Reporting
- Communicate material requirements to the supply chain team
- Report material usage accurately
- Complete production and line performance records
- Maintain visual management boards
- Provide clear information during shift handovers
Experience Required
- At least two years of experience within manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly or a similar industrial environment
- A good understanding of production processes
- Comfortable using computers and completing production records
- Strong health and safety awareness
- FLT licence would be beneficial but is not essential
- Willingness to work a 12 hour day or night shift pattern
