Machine Operator
Location: Maldon

Shifts: Nights shift available 4 on 4 off
Adecco is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected manufacturing company. We are seeking a Production Line Operator to join a dynamic and safety-focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in manufacturing who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine & Asset Care: Perform selected Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks. Support machine performance and reliability.
- Health & Safety: Promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor. Complete risk assessments, report incidents, and submit near misses. Adhere to all safety policies including PPE, LOTO, Knife Safety, and others. Participate in 6S inspections and continuous safety improvements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure only calibrated equipment is used. Assist in SOP development and product testing. Manage questionable stock and ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Supply Chain & Reporting: Communicate with supply chain for material replenishment. Report material usage and complete line performance metrics. Maintain visual management boards and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Education & Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. FLT license preferred.
Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of production processes and computer literacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team-oriented with leadership potential. Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement. Able to work all shift patterns, including weekends.
