Join a Busy Summer Turnaround Team
We are recruiting a Summer Maintenance Operative to support a leading student accommodation provider during the crucial summer turnaround period. This is a hands-on role focused on preparing accommodation for the new academic year, ensuring rooms and communal areas are maintained to a high standard for incoming students and summer guests. If you have maintenance experience and enjoy practical work in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the site
- Assist with room refreshes and preparation for new residents
- Support move-in activities, including occasional heavy lifting
- Complete basic plumbing, painting and decorating tasks
- Undertake paint work, mastic work and replacements
- Perform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Technician team and wider site staff
- Help deliver a positive experience for residents and guests
About You
Previous experience in residential maintenance, facilities, property maintenance or a trade such as plumbing or carpentry.
