Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role in a dynamic environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established operation where you’ll play a vital part in keeping equipment, machinery, and facilities running smoothly.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs
- Maintaining machinery, plant, and site facilities
- Supporting spare parts management and stock control
- Working closely with the wider team to prioritise workloads
- Upholding high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
Working Pattern
44 hours per week
Flexibility to work across 4 or 5 days
1 weekend in 3 (with 2 days off in the week when worked)
Participation in a shared out-of-hours callout rota
Salary
48,000 - 52,000 DOE
What We’re Looking For
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (Level 3 or above)
- 18th Edition qualification
- Experience with motors, drives, fault finding, and control systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
- Welding skills (advantageous)
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
