Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Triage and Research Officer to join their team. As a Triage and Research Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer complaints and information requests are processed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and triage written and verbal service complaints and inquiries.
- Conduct thorough and timely reviews of incoming material.
- Risk assess complaints and requests for information to prioritise urgent cases.
- Utilise statutory provisions to gather relevant information for complaints processing.
- Assist individuals making inquiries, providing guidance and referrals where needed.
- Proactively seek resolution of requests at the first point of contact.
- Create and maintain accurate complaint and enquiry records.
Requirements:
- Experience in maintaining records in a structured and systematic manner.
- Proven experience in managing customer inquiries in a complex organisation.
- Strong ability to effectively work with diverse stakeholders and levels within an organisation.
- Knowledge of legislation and statutory requirements related to complaint resolution and request for information.
- Familiarity with Freedom of Information Act, Data Protection Act, Environmental Information Regulations, and Re-Use of Public Sector Information.
