About the role
You will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of multi-agency mental health projects, working in partnership with local authorities, NHS organisations, the Integrated Care Board (ICB), and providers. This role is pivotal in:
- Strengthening cross-system collaboration
- Aligning commissioning priorities across boroughs
- Driving innovative service models and market development
- Delivering tangible improvements in outcomes for residents
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex multi-agency programmes across local authorities and NHS partners
- Develop joint commissioning approaches and market strategies for mental health services
- Drive delivery of projects focused on 18-25 transition cohorts and complex needs
- Build strong partnerships across NHS, local government, and voluntary sector stakeholders
- Use data and insights to inform decision‑making, service improvement, and business cases
- Monitor programme delivery, risks, and impact, ensuring effective governance and reporting
- Facilitate sharing of best practice and scale successful models across the region
About you

You will bring:
Knowledge & Experience- Strong understanding of mental health systems, pathways, and policy
- Experience of local authority and NHS commissioning and service delivery
- Proven track record leading cross‑system or multi‑agency programmes
- Background in mental health, social care, public health, or integrated commissioning
- Excellent project and programme management skills (planning, governance, risk, delivery tracking)
- Outstanding relationship‑building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical capability, using data and insights to drive decision‑making and improvement
- Ability to manage complexity, influence stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment
