We're currently looking for an experienced Service Transition Project Manager to join a major telecoms programme on a 6-month contract. This role is focused on ensuring the smooth transition of services into live operation, working across delivery, operations, and suppliers to ensure services are fully operational, resilient, and ready from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end service transition and introduction
- Drive operational readiness, service acceptance, and handover
- Manage plans, risks, dependencies, and governance (RAID)
- Coordinate internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Translate project outputs into support models, SLAs/OLAs, and runbooks
Key Experience Required
- Strong Project/Programme Management background
- Proven experience in Service Transition / Service Introduction
- Experience delivering in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of operational readiness and live service environments
Nice to Have
- Telecoms, infrastructure, or managed services experience
- ITIL, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent
