Ready to take the step from hands-on pricing into true leadership - without losing your technical edge? This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Senior/Lead Pricing Analyst who's ready to move into management, start small (3 direct reports), and grow a team over time - all while staying close to the data, strategy, and decision-making that really matters.
Why This Role Stands Out
As an Insurance Pricing Manager, you'll sit at the heart of the business, shaping pricing strategy that directly impacts growth, profitability, conversion, and retention. Your work won't disappear into spreadsheets; it will influence real commercial decisions and be visible at senior leadership level. You’ll have autonomy, exposure, and the chance to build something – not just maintain it.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a team of 3 Pricing Analysts with scope to grow
- Owning and managing trading performance against key KPIs
- Reviewing, approving and evolving pricing, customer and market models, including ML-driven approaches
- Producing clear, commercially focused recommendations for trading forums and senior stakeholders
- Deep diving into market movements and competitor behaviour to inform pricing strategy
- Balancing hands-on technical work with leadership and strategic influence
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in insurance pricing or analytics (motor, home or similar)
- Proven exposure to price optimisation
- Experience using tools such as Radar, Databricks, Emblem
- Programming capability in Python, R or SAS
- Someone confident communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus, but not essential
If you’re currently a Senior/Lead Analyst leading projects or mentoring juniors and thinking “I’m ready for more”, this role is made for you.
The Perks
Remote-first working – just 1 day per month in the office
35+ days holiday (including)
