Role Overview
As a Policy Specialist, you will make broad contributions by delivering full pieces of a policy launch and creating visible impact with minimal assistance. You will design, execute, and advocate for policies, engaging with cross-functional partners to drive changes that promote trust and increase compliance.
In this role, you will independently identify and recommend creative ways to evolve or adapt solutions to defined policy problems, collaborating across teams to share knowledge and resolve high-impact issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Escalation & Request Management: Resolve cross-product, high-impact policy escalations with minimal guidance. Process specialized requests, specifically focusing on legal removal requests.
- Policy Development: Establish, manage, and implement global product policies and standards with a regional focus, ensuring an understanding of local culture, values, and community platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders on escalation requests. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development and launch of products, features, and processes that promote user trust.
- Vendor & Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to develop and implement product policies for a wide variety of products. Partner with vendors to help build and refine processes and policies for legal removal requests.
- Investigations & Analysis: Identify, analyze, and prioritize emerging policy issues affecting business and users. Participate in investigations and respond to inquiries from external parties, reviewing and processing real-world investigations.
