Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of children every day? Do you have a passion for driving and ensuring safety on the road? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic School Bus Drivers to join our passenger transport service. You'll be responsible for transporting users of both the adults and children's transport services to and from home and school/site and vice versa. It is paramount that as the bus driver, you must ensure that they travel safely to and from their destination. You will be assigned with a passenger assistant in ensuring passengers are seated safely on the vehicle, safely and joyfully to and from their destination. What You'll Do:
- Safely drive a school bus along designated routes
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers
- Assist children in boarding and alighting from the bus
- Maintain a clean and tidy bus environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in excellent working condition
What We're Looking For:
- A valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license.
- A valid digitachograph card
- A valid CPC (Drivers qualification) card
- Previous experience driving a bus, preferably with children
- A friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safety and punctuality
- An understanding of local traffic laws and school policies
