The predicted salary is between 11 - 15 € per hour.

Our client, a world-famous Museum based in South Kensington, requires enthusiastic, outgoing, and professional staff with excellent interpersonal skills and commercial awareness to work within their Front of House Visitor Experience Teams.

This role will commence from the 14th October currently until the 3rd November with a potential of an extension. Staff should be available for all the assessment and induction days.

Please note we will be holding an assessment at the Museum on Tuesday 8th October. Selected applicants will then be required to attend paid training from Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October. You must be available for the entirety of all these days to complete induction for the role.

This position is paid at £13.15 per hour.

Responsibilities and skills required include:

  • To actively seek out and assist visitors, providing excellent customer service to enhance all aspects of the visitor journey.
  • To inspire visitors' interest by sharing knowledge and information, and advocating all aspects of the public programme, offer, services and products.
  • To achieve set individual and team performance objectives and conversion targets.
  • To actively promote and engage visitors in commercial opportunities where applicable.
  • To promote the programme of special exhibitions and events, including the Gift Aid scheme to encourage additional ticket donations and meet conversion rates.

Please note that this role involves working in a busy environment, with some manual handling responsibilities such as staffing a cloakroom, stock movement, and moving of barriers. Successful candidates can expect to work outside in all weathers (protective clothing will be provided) and be standing and/or moving around the Museum site for most of the day.
