My client, a leading global telecoms company is looking for an experienced Mobile Core/ Packet Core Design Specialist to support a major programme within their core network team. This is a hybrid London‑based role requiring strong 4G/5G core expertise.
Key Skills
- Deep understanding of 3GPP 4G & 5G SA Packet Core standards
- Strong knowledge of core architecture, protocols & integration
- Experience with 4G interfaces (S1‑MME/S1‑U, S4, S6a, S5/S8, SGi)
- Experience with 5G SA interfaces (N2/N3/N4/N6, SBA)
- Understanding of NFVI, VNFs/CNFs; Kubernetes desirable
- Solid IP networking background
- Strong troubleshooting and config management skills
Role Overview
- Contribute to HLDs/LLDs for MME, GW‑C/U, AMF, SMF, UPF
- Support integration with wider network architecture
- Provide troubleshooting across multi‑vendor Packet Core
