Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an IT support, ICT support, service desk or business support environment.
  • Good understanding of IT systems, applications and troubleshooting processes.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A keen interest in technology and keeping up to date with industry developments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and common business systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the ICT team with a variety of day-to-day operational activities to help ensure the smooth delivery of ICT services across the organisation.
  • Provide first line ICT support to internal users.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, system and user-related issues.
  • Support the management and maintenance of business systems and applications.
  • Assist with data management, reporting and system administration tasks.Log, track and update support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve ICT service delivery objectives and implementation targets.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing and new technology rollouts.
  • Promote best practices and help users maximise the use of ICT systems.
