Location: Chiswick, 4x in a week

Salary: 30-33k + Benefits + discretionary bonus

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 9:00-5:30

The Opportunity

We are working with an established international organisation seeking an organised and proactive HR & Administration Officer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resources
    • Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation management, and offboarding processes.
    • Assist with recruitment activities, including interview coordination, candidate communication, offer documentation, employment contracts, and right-to-work verification.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
    • Coordinate induction programmes and training plans for new employees.
    • Manage employee reference requests and employment verification checks.
    • Monitor absence records, maintain sickness reporting processes, and support payroll-related administration.
    • Assist with HR reporting and the preparation of management information.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and staff events.
    • Respond to day-to-day HR queries from employees and managers.
    • Assist with the maintenance and updating of HR policies, procedures, and internal communications platforms.
  • Administration & Office Support
    • Support office administration activities, including visitor management and facilities coordination.
    • Assist with health & safety compliance activities, risk assessments, and office audits.
    • Coordinate training programmes, including First Aid and Fire Marshal training.
    • Support travel administration and employee benefits administration where required.
    • Process invoices and assist with supplier and contract administration.
    • Help organise company events, recognition programmes, and employee awards.
    • Provide general administrative support to the wider business and HR team.
    • Assist with ad hoc projects and additional duties as required.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience within a HR Administration, HR Assistant, People Coordinator, or similar HR support role.
  • A degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • An understanding of HR processes and employment administration.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
