Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on health and safety best practices.
- Collaborating with management to promote a culture of safety across all departments.
- Reporting and presenting on compliance metrics and suggesting improvements to enhance safety performance.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry regulations and trends to ensure ongoing compliance.
What We're Looking For:
- A proactive and hands-on individual with a strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with team members at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective strategies.
- Previous experience in an HSE or compliance role.
- Previous experience in internal audit/compliance would be beneficial ideally from a warehouse/manufacturing background.
- A relevant qualification in health and safety or environmental management is a plus but not essential to apply.
