Job Title: Executive Support Officer to the Head of RMS Operations

About the Role
Our client is seeking an exceptional RMS Executive Support Officer to provide high-level, confidential, and proactive support to the Head of RMS Operations. This dynamic role is essential to ensuring the smooth management of the Head's office and priorities, making it a perfect opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional!
Key Responsibilities
Executive and Diary Management
- Manage a complex diary, prioritising appointments and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Organise travel, site visits, and corporate meetings to keep the Head of RMS Operations fully prepared.
Inbox and Correspondence Management
- Oversee the Head's inbox, ensuring timely action on inquiries.
- Draught high-quality correspondence, reports, and presentations on their behalf.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents, councillors, and partners.
- Build and maintain effective relationships across various stakeholders.
Governance and Meeting Support
- Coordinate leadership meetings and prepare agendas, collecting necessary information.
- Accurately record minutes and track action items to ensure follow-up.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Produce professional documents and maintain organised filing systems.
- Assist in service improvement initiatives and operational projects.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Significant experience providing executive support to senior leaders.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in local government or social housing services.
- Understanding of local authority governance and committee processes.
