The predicted salary is between 20 - 25 £ per hour.

Location: London

Hourly rate: £20 - £25

Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday (flexibility needed)

Duration: Temporary ongoing

Responsibilities:

  • Visit sites across the UK to troubleshoot network issues, test cables, confirm electrical compliance, and support software commissioning for the remote team.
  • Use a site checklist to ensure a smooth handover to the Operations Team.
  • Quickly address and fix operational problems, reporting them to the Ops management or other relevant departments.
  • Diagnose issues with local Copper and Fibre network infrastructure.
  • Oversee subcontractors who install and maintain network equipment.
  • Test and commission structured cabling to meet compliance standards.
  • Manage equipment and assets, including client-owned items.
  • Troubleshoot telematics equipment (training provided).
  • Follow and enforce company policies (ISO, ISO, ISO).
  • Help commission chargers and provide software/firmware support.
  • Create in-house guides on operating and troubleshooting products.
  • Deliver scripted training to customers using products (EVC).
  • Be willing to work away from home.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and others to improve processes.

Skills Required:

  • Qualified electrician with experience in network, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
  • Experience with DC charging systems.
  • Familiar with working safely on CDM-regulated sites.
  • Knowledge of data networking infrastructure.
  • Electrical inspection and testing qualification (City & Guilds or similar) is a plus but not essential.
  • Electrical diploma (City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • EV charging course (City & Guilds) is a plus but not essential.
  • Up-to-date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds).
  • Understanding of network layouts in single-line drawings.
  • ECS card is a plus but not essential.
  • Willing to learn and manage technical documents.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced changes and challenges.
  • Knowledge of RAMS, PTW, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Comfortable managing contractors and third parties.
  • Full UK driving license, clean and valid.
