Overview

As Digital Product Analyst, you’ll partner with product managers and UX leads to define objectives, validate hypotheses, and provide data-driven recommendations that shape supplier and partner products.

You work within Product Analytics & Experimentation to analyse releases, set targets, and identify opportunities using Tableau and SQL.

You’ll own end-to-end analyses, liaise with stakeholders, and translate data into actionable product insights.

This hybrid, contract role offers meaningful impact in a fast‑paced retail analytics context.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end analyses: define success metrics, gather data requirements, validate data sources, and deliver insights to clients and partners.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on key business areas to uncover opportunities for optimisation.
  • Support, analyse and visualise data to prioritise initiatives and inform decisions.
  • Demonstrate data-driven decision-making in scenarios with trade-offs and fast decisions.
  • Use multiple data sources to identify trends and benchmark against external data.
  • Represent the team confidently to stakeholders when needed.
  • Understand commercial impact of recommendations and insights.
  • Identify unstructured problems and propose new analytics projects.
  • Key requirements
  • Using big data, business intelligence and data visualization tools (ideally Tableau)
  • Advanced data collection from diverse sources
  • Strong SQL
  • Advanced ETL (data cleansing)
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams across the product lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Experience in digital analytics roles
  • University degree of 2:1 or higher in a quantitative discipline or relevant experience
