Our client is seeking a talented and driven Project Manager to join their growing consultancy. They are a long-established and dynamic practice, delivering high-quality cost management and commercial services across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys autonomy, responsibility, client interaction, and working on fast-paced projects within a close-knit and supportive team. The role also offers excellent prospects for career progression.
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of your projects, running them day-to-day from initial inception through to successful completion. You will be responsible for working on multiple fast track projects, delivering PM services, while acting as a trusted client-facing representative of the business.
You’ll be based in Romford for a minimum of two days per week (depending on site meeting commitments), with flexibility to work from home and regular travel to sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Full delivery of Project Management (Client-Side) services from inception stage through to completion.
- Administering contracts (primarily JCT suite).
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Represent the business professionally in client, contractor and design team meetings.
- Travel to project sites across the UK as required.
- Contribute to business growth through high-quality service delivery.
- Assist with the management and development of talented apprentice PM's.
We are looking for a confident, motivated PM with a strong track record in delivering high-quality work.
Essential Requirements- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management.
- Strong background in fast-paced, high-volume fit-out projects (ranging from £100K to £5 Million). Projects include new fit out, refurbishments, extensions and alterations and multi-site roll out programmes.
- Proven experience running your own projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the administration of JCT construction contracts.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Willingness and flexibility to work on projects across the UK.
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant PM Accreditations (APM) or working towards.
- Experience in client-side consultancy and working within an SME.
