Responsibilities
- Local Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between data centers and local communities in the UK. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including residents, NGOs, businesses, and municipal authorities. Support government engagement, ensuring clarity on roles and processes.
- Community Strategy & Social Impact: Develop and implement location‑specific community strategies aligned with organisational priorities. Execute community investment programmes reflecting global social and environmental commitments, such as STEM education and sustainability initiatives. Collect and analyse data to understand community needs and risks.
- Reputation, Risk & Issues Management: Proactively monitor community concerns and manage crisis‑related communications. Identify social risks and political dynamics, recommending actions for mitigation. Ensure transparent messaging across channels and support storytelling to highlight programme impact.
- Programme Delivery & Execution Excellence: Lead the timely deployment of community programmes, ensuring they align with local needs. Track and report progress, insights, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Internal & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Represent community interests internally, ensuring feedback informs planning and operations. Collaborate with various teams, including engineering, construction, and legal affairs, to coordinate community‑relevant decisions. Participate in initiatives and report on programme impact.

- Extensive experience in community and local government affairs, especially in large infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders in various environments.
- Experience managing contractors and third parties, with strong team player skills.
- Experience in community engagement for infrastructure projects.
