As a Business Analyst, you will report to the Global Markets Control Testing Programme Head within the Markets Governance & Control Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting the results of control testing, specifically covering Markets Trading and Sales businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing and reporting control testing results
- Supervising and coaching junior team members
- Monitoring testing programme execution and resolving obstacles
- Maintaining high standards and best practices for testing activities
- Providing challenge to stakeholders on control design and effectiveness
- Supporting stakeholders in control remediation efforts
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Presenting impactful summary outputs to stakeholders
- Providing Markets controls expertise across all three lines of defence
Qualifications and Experience:
- Understanding of Markets business activities and relevant regulations
- Knowledge of Markets Operational and Compliance risks and controls
- Strong understanding of control design assessment techniques
- Experience in Front Office controls testing, internal/external audit, or control consulting
- Track record of coaching and developing team members
- Ability to establish effective senior stakeholder relationships
- Proven experience in providing constructive challenge on risk management matters
Education:
A bachelor's degree or university education is preferred, but exceptional industry experience with a strong delivery track record will be considered equally important.
