Manage cross-functional Business Affairs operations, specifically for one of the key pillars, overseeing all Creative Experiences (CX) work and external agency collaborations.
Provide comprehensive advice on Business Affairs matters for development, production, post-production, sales, and distribution of entertainment and business initiatives from legal, financial, and strategic viewpoints.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Legal, Finance, Sourcing, Partnerships, Music, and Privacy, to streamline business affairs processes.
Lead project management for complex work streams, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Work closely with the legal team on production legalities, litigation, copyright/trademark, music rights, and clearance issues.
Analyze deal opportunities and develop business strategies related to various development and production matters.
Foster and maintain relationships with key agencies, managers, and attorneys within the entertainment sector.
Ensure corporate compliance with all contractual and legal obligations related to Media and Production.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working with celebrities
- Agency side experience or in-house experience working for tech companies in a similar role
- Experience with production, marketing and advertising side of the world
- Business Affairs experience within creative agencies.
- Proven experience in leading or supporting marketing campaigns utilising artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, with the ability to evaluate and optimize AI-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI-related legal, ethical, and regulatory considerations, including conducting AI reviews and collaborating with Legal, Privacy, and Policy teams to ensure compliance.
- Familiarity with social networking, platform integrations, publishing platforms, and both broadcast & new media.
- Knowledge of Union requirements, agreements, and negotiations.
- Established relationships with digital creators, publishers, and creative agencies, with experience in negotiating strategic transactions.
- Proven ability to manage complex work streams and collaborate effectively with multiple cross-functional partners.
