We are seeking an experienced Automation Application Developer to join our Development team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled RPA professional to design, develop and support intelligent automation solutions that drive operational efficiency across the organisation.

Working closely with Business Analysts, SMEs, Project Managers and development teams, you will play a key role in delivering robust automation solutions using UiPath, C# .NET, and SQL technologies. You will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from solution design and build through to deployment, support and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and deploy end-to-end RPA solutions using UiPath.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyse and optimise business processes for automation.
  • Produce and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs), technical specifications and process documentation.
  • Develop reliable and scalable automation solutions using UiPath REFramework.
  • Build supporting applications and utilities using C# .NET where automation alone does not meet business requirements.
  • Develop SQL scripts and data solutions across SQL Server and Oracle environments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities and post-production monitoring.
  • Work closely with wider development teams to ensure seamless integration across enterprise platforms.
  • Provide regular progress updates and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support and maintain existing automation processes and environments.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience with UiPath RPA technologies.
  • Experience working with both UiPath Cloud and standalone environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UiPath Orchestrator, including assets, queues, triggers and deployments.
  • Strong experience developing applications using C# .NET and SQL.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex automation solutions.
  • Experience developing unattended robots and enterprise-scale automations.
  • Experience delivering the full automation lifecycle, including design, development, testing and deployment.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and SQL querying.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • UiPath Advanced Certification (or equivalent UiPath qualifications).

Desirable Skills

  • Financial services or banking industry experience.
  • Experience with API automation.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices and Jira.
  • WPF development experience.
  • Exposure to UiPath Automation Cloud and Generative AI capabilities.
