About the Role:

As an Application Support - AVP, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's development teams in production environments. Your expertise will help ensure smooth application operations, all while enhancing communication with our Data Centre and Help Desk staff. Join us in delivering exceptional service to our Business Clients!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Applications, diving deep into Windows Servers and Databases (SQL Server or Oracle).
  • Collaborate with technical support, network, and infrastructure teams to tackle application challenges.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as part of the production support team.
  • Participate in design workshops, contributing ideas to achieve stable application operations.
  • Develop scripts for data analysis and ensure adherence to Change Management Control procedures.

What You Bring:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Windows environments and Database Engines.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a quality-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in application development with C#, .Net, ASP.NET, and Windows Applications.
  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL, along with hands-on expertise in Oracle Database.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and CI/Automation tools.
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) and Metastorm.
