Our client, a leading organisation based in Chippenham, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics operator/stores to join their team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation's stock control system. Hours: 37.5 hours between 8am-5pm Monday to Friday Salary £13.50 per hour Responsibilities: Monitor inventory levels and make informed decisions on stock replenishment based on guidance from the computerised stock system. Organise and maintain existing inventory, ensuring it is easily and safely accessible. Keep accurate records of stock deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition. Develop efficient systems and processes for stock control. Accept deliveries of stock, ensuring they are not damaged and all items ordered are present. Facilitate the return of faulty goods and products. Ensure the safety and security of the stock. Enforce health and safety rules within the storeroom and provide training to staff on proper practises and emergency procedures.Requirements: Previous experience managing an Engineering Stores a strong advantage Forklift licence required – Counter Balance Confident and capable individual with problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
