Are you passionate about sustainable solutions? Do you have experience in managing energy and housing data? Our client, a leading housing organisation in Merseyside is seeking an enthusiastic Energy & Sustainability Manager to join their dynamic Asset Data & Strategy team!
- Collating, managing, and reporting energy and housing data
- Bidding for government funding streams including SHDF, ECO4, and more
- Creating improvement plans to achieve government targets for EPC Band C
- Utilising Net Present Value appraisal models to assess property performance and financial viability
- Undertaking option appraisals to improve property performance and bring about positive change
- Liaising with tenants, leaseholders, and stakeholders to promote energy efficiency initiatives
- Coordinating with utilities suppliers for landlord gas and electricity supplies
Qualifications:
- Relevant Construction Qualification, e.g., HNC/HND/Degree or similar
- Relevant Energy Qualification, e.g., DEA, Retrofit Advice/Assessment/Coordinator
- Experience working within the housing association sector
- Knowledge of government targets for energy performance certificates (EPC) Band C and experience creating improvement plans to achieve them
- Knowledge of both energy and sustainability as well as construction-related matters (e.g., retrofitting) and housing experience
- Strong computer literacy with excellent Excel & database skills
- Experience with asset management systems, energy modules, or similar external systems to identify energy performance and make recommendations
- Excellent communication and customer care skills, both written and verbal
