Resource Planning Assistant Location: Merseyside Contract Type: Temporary Hourly Rate: Β£14.29 Working Pattern: Full Time (36.5 hours per week, 5 days a week) Monday to Friday below shift times 7.00am - 14:48pm 8.12am - 16:00pm 8:42am - 16:30pm 11:12am - 19:00pm Our client, Merseyside Police are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Resource Planning Assistant to join their dynamic Force Resource Unit. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about effective resource management. As a Resource Planning Assistant, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient administration of the Resource Management System. Assisting the Resource Planning Supervisor in determining resource strengths to meet customer requirements. Providing administrative support for operations in the absence of the Resource Planning Supervisor. Administering Force rotas to maintain fairness and equity, while effectively communicating details to all relevant individuals and Command Teams. Monitoring staff working hours to ensure compliance with Force policy and Working Time Regulations 1998. Conducting tasks related to the administration of the Duty Management System (DMS), including staff movements and flexible working agreements. A strong understanding of resource allocation and work scheduling issues, along with relevant knowledge of Personnel Policies, Police Regulations, and Health and Safety Legislation. Proficiency in IT, particularly in Windows, MS Office applications, and resource management systems. This temporary position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital public service function, working alongside a dedicated team committed to delivering effective resource management.
