What are we looking for?
Are you an organised individual with experience in Stores/Warehouse operations? Join our team as a Material Handling Operator and grow your career with us!
Responsibilities:
- Performing logistics processing, including Goods Receipt, Warehouse Management, Transport, and Dispatch
- Ensuring the accuracy of incoming goods and addressing any visible damage
- Operating equipment such as forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintaining data accuracy in our systems and conducting regular stock maintenance
- Packing, assembling, and preparing deliveries according to shipping instructions
- Safely transporting goods within and sometimes outside the premises
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in Stores or material control (ideally within a rail environment)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- IT literacy, particularly in MS Office applications and SAP
- A full driving licence and FLT experience
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in logistics processing in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with stock management systems
