About the Role: As the Data Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing a robust data architecture that drives impactful insights and intelligence for the Force and its partners. Your work will directly contribute to the mission of stopping crime, protecting people, and supporting those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and build of the Force's overall data architecture.
  • Manage and optimise data management tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with various teams to turn visions into actionable data solutions.
  • Foster a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy and governance practices.
  • Mentor and guide a talented team of data professionals.

Who You Are: You have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of query languages (e.g., SQL, Java) and data visualisation tools (e.g., PowerBI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • For the Police Vetting, you must have resided within the UK continuously for at least 5 years at the time of application.
