Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Business Intelligence Developer to work within the Lincolnshire Police Force.

Location: Nettleham, Lincoln

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £17.97 per hour

Working Pattern: Full Time 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00am and 16:30pm, Hybrid

End Date: June 2027

What You'll Do:

  • Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain engaging Power BI reports and dashboards. Build and optimise Power BI semantic models to meet organisational reporting needs. Create and manage dataflows and shared datasets for enterprise reporting.
  • Data Modelling & Architecture: Apply dimensional modelling principles to enhance analytical workloads. Collaborate with data engineers to design and document effective technical solutions.
  • Operational Support & Estate Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Power BI estate, ensuring optimum performance. Ensure compliance with security standards and testing requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Support the Force Performance Management Team in delivering data insights.
  • DevOps & Continuous Improvement: Manage DevOps work items and contribute to version control and deployment processes. Stay updated on the latest BI technologies and recommend enhancements.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a technology discipline (Desirable).
  • Proven experience in developing user requirements into effective BI visualisations (Essential).
  • Familiarity with Power BI, data modelling, Azure DevOps, ORACLE, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to achieve suitable security clearance (Essential).
