Job Title: Licensing Officer Location: Rayleigh Remuneration: Up to £40 Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time Responsibilities: Assist in the provision of an efficient service to our client, and the public on licensing and associated matters. Perform a range of technical and professional functions related to our client's current and future licensing functions. Contribute to achieving our client's corporate objectives and priorities. Contribute to our client's agenda for continuous improvement in service delivery and external performance assessments.Accountability's: Carry out the duties of an authorised officer to enforce licensing conditions, including making visits to premises outside normal office hours. Deal with aspects of the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005 and other licensing. Ensure proper processing and determination of applications for various licences, permits, registrations, etc. Maintain filing related to all licensing associated functions. Provide appropriate reports and attend Licensing committee or subcommittees. Give evidence before a court arising from prosecutions and appeals related to licensing functions.Experience: Hold the right qualifications/experience within a Licensing Officer role. Time management Analyse problems and make effective decisions. Able to build positive relationships.
