Our client is seeking a cheerful and dedicated Library Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. Location: Central Library Wolverhampton (You may also be required to attend other Libraries across Wolverhampton). Contract type: Temporary Hours each week: Between 5 to 10 hours Hourly rate: £12.65 per hour Shift pattern: Rotational IMPORTANT: You must have flexible availability for this role. Key Responsibilities: As a Library Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the library. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting patrons in locating and checking out materials Maintaining a welcoming and organised environment Shelving books and ensuring the collection is in order Providing information and guidance to library users Supporting library programmes and events Performing administrative tasks as neededWhat We\'re Looking For: The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly, and possess a love for literature. Key qualifications include: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and organisational skills Basic computer proficiency Previous experience in a library or customer service role is a plus!
