Join Our Team as a Library Assistant!

Location: Hillingdon, Greater London | Contract Type: Temporary | Start ASAP - Mid-April | Salary: £18.57 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

  • Stock Selection: curate a diverse and engaging collection using reading lists.
  • Stock Acquisition: work with Edifact to manage stock acquisition through suppliers and library infrastructure.
  • Customer Support: assist patrons with inquiries and provide exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Previous or current experience in libraries, preferably academic.
  • Strong front‑face customer service skills.
  • Excellent teamwork ability.
  • Degree in any subject (background in librarianship a bonus).
