Employment Lawyer (Locum - Tribunal Litigation Focus) Hybrid - 1 day per week in office (Perceval House) 50-60 per hour (Umbrella) 12-week contract | Immediate start
Ready to hit the ground running? We are looking for a confident, experienced Employment Lawyer to step into a fast-paced, high-impact role supporting our Legal Services team. This is a hands-on litigation role - you will be managing tribunal cases from day one, attending hearings, and providing clear, practical advice across the organisation. If you enjoy autonomy, complex caseloads, and being trusted to deliver - this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running a busy employment tribunal caseload from start to finish
- Representing the organisation at tribunal hearings (mainly short hearings)
- Providing straightforward, pragmatic advice to managers, schools, and academies
- Supporting on policy, drafting and compliance work (including Employment Rights developments)
- Handling sensitive and complex matters with confidence and professionalism
