Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join their dynamic operation. This temporary-to-permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a thriving team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service within the logistics and transportation industry.
About the Role:
In this fast-paced position, the successful candidate will work closely with Client Relationship Managers and Account Managers to ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks, making it perfect for someone who enjoys a structured environment and is passionate about customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and run customer orders
- Distribute printed orders to warehouse teams and trays
- Provide daily administrative support
- Produce stock reports and complete authorised system adjustments
- Process shipping labels
- Maintain shipping information
- Close all orders with the correct costs prior to invoicing
- Use shipping calculators to determine delivery and carrier costs
- Assist in the production of customer and operational KPI reports
- Monitor daily order volumes and activity
- Escalate changes in demand or workload to relevant stakeholders
- Support operational teams in identifying resource and staffing requirements
- Maintain regular communication with Client Relationship Managers and warehouse teams
- Assist with customer charge sheets and invoicing processes
- Utilise CHESS outputs and available data
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately
- Identify and report health and safety concerns
- Attend internal meetings
- Answer incoming telephone calls and provide reception cover as needed
- Deliver a professional service when communicating with customers, suppliers, and colleagues

- Knowledge of SharePoint.
