About the Role
We are currently recruiting for Labourers to join our clients busy scrap processing site in Cardiff. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you'll play a key part in ensuring materials are sorted, inspected, and handled safely in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually handle and sort scrap materials
- Inspect and classify materials accurately
- Organise and separate metals in line with company procedures
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across work areas
- Clean workspaces and equipment, including conveyor belt cleaners
- Report hazards, near misses, and incidents using ProSafety systems
- Follow all health & safety policies, including Safe Systems of Work
- Support environmental and safety processes onsite
- Undertake training as required
- Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Plant Manager

- Experience in a hands-on or outdoor working environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, self-motivated, and flexible
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
