FLT Warehouse Operative (Reach & Counterbalance)

Location: HU7

Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to support end-to-end warehouse operations within a busy production environment. This role is key in ensuring stock and materials are handled safely and efficiently to maintain smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt of goods with accurate documentation
  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely using FLT (Reach & Counterbalance)
  • Stock control and monitoring inventory levels
  • Order picking and preparing goods for dispatch in line with production schedules
  • Transporting materials efficiently to production areas using FLT
  • Maintaining warehouse organisation and cleanliness
  • Collaborating with production staff to ensure timely stock delivery
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any equipment issues

The Role

You will be responsible for managing goods in, ensuring documentation is accurate, and safely handling deliveries using both Reach and Counterbalance trucks. The role includes stock control, monitoring inventory, and ensuring orders are picked and prepared in line with production demands.

You will play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by transporting materials across the site, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse, and working closely with production teams. Following safety guidelines and reporting any issues is essential.

  • Valid Reach and Counterbalance FLT licences (essential)
  • Previous warehouse/FLT experience within a fast-paced environment
