We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for customers and field service teams. This role will act as the primary escalation point for complex laser system issues, supporting diagnosis, performance optimization, and long-term system reliability.
The position combines remote support, occasional on-site intervention, and close collaboration with Test & Integration, Quality, Repair Centre, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for COâ‚‚ laser systems via phone, email, and remote access.
- Manage technical support cases from initial enquiry through to resolution, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
- Support Field Service Engineers and customers with system optimization and best operating practices.
- Attend customer sites occasionally for specialist alignment or deep-level repairs.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve recurring issues and contribute to product and process improvements.
- Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and customer 'How-To' guides.
- Deliver technical training to Field Service Engineers and end-users.
- Strong analytical and fault-finding abilities with laser or complex electromechanical systems.
- Experience supporting industrial laser systems, ideally COâ‚‚-based platforms.
- Ability to take ownership of technical issues and drive them through to resolution.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support.
- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
