Are you an organised and detail-oriented administrator with experience supporting supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Hull that is looking to strengthen its supply chain team with the addition of a proactive Supply Chain Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in supporting inventory control, customer order management, and operational reporting.
The Role
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information across the supply chain function, supporting stock control, customer requirements, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with suppliers and transport providers.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through the internal systems.
- Produce and distribute regular reports to support operational and commercial decision-making.
- Maintain accurate data within ERP and business management systems.
- Support compliance and quality processes, ensuring documentation is kept up to date.
- Liaise with internal departments including Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service.
- Investigate and resolve stock, delivery, and order-related queries.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
About You
We are looking for an organised and analytical individual who enjoys working with data, systems, and processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Purchasing, or Administration role.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or business management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
