We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Operative to join a busy and well-established food production company based in the HU7 area of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out quality checks on products throughout the production process
- Monitoring food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Completing quality documentation accurately and efficiently
- Identifying and reporting any quality issues or non-conformances
- Supporting production teams to ensure customer specifications are met
- Assisting with audits and continuous improvement activities where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or food production environment is desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards would be advantageous
Working Hours
This role involves 8-hour shifts, however start and finish times vary depending on production requirements. Shifts can start as early as 6:00am and finish as late as 4:30pm, so flexibility is essential.
