About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Day Shift FLT Driver to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in the HU2 area. This role is ideal for an experienced and reliable FLT driver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and supporting daily factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks to move, load, and unload materials
- Supplying production lines with raw materials
- Transporting finished goods to designated storage areas
- Supporting general warehouse and production activities when required
- Ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently at all times
- Adhering to all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
Essential Requirements (Must Have)
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience as an FLT driver
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
Desirable
- Previous manufacturing or factory experience
- Team-player attitude with flexibility to assist other areas of the site
