An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Hull. Working within a 24/7 operation, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, carrying out fault finding, and supporting site reliability through planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Work on PLCs, drives, motors, inverters and control systems
- Complete preventative maintenance activities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrade projects
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
About You
- Previous electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with PLCs, motors, drives and control systems
- Good understanding of electrical schematics
- Knowledge of safe isolation procedures and health & safety requirements
- Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualification or equivalent
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
