Due to continued business demand, they are looking to appoint an organised and proactive HR Administrator on an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of the role being extended or becoming permanent.

The Role

As HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of the HR function, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and providing an excellent service to employees across the business. This is a varied position that would suit someone with previous administrative experience within HR or a strong administrator looking to develop their career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing first-line HR administration support to managers and employees
  • Assisting with recruitment activities, including arranging interviews, communicating with candidates and supporting onboarding processes
  • Preparing employment contracts, offer letters and HR documentation
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems
  • Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new starters
  • Processing changes to employee information including promotions, transfers and contract amendments
  • Monitoring and recording employee absence, holidays and other HR-related data
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives as required
  • Assisting with compliance checks and ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately
  • Producing reports and providing administrative support to the wider HR team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Assistant or Administrative role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support a busy team
