We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Edge Bander to join a busy and well-established caravan manufacturing team based in the HU7 area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with edge banding or machine-operating experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift & Pay
- Monday - Thursday: 5:30pm - 3:45am
- Pay Rate: £15.94 per hour
- Long weekend every week - Friday off
Key Responsibilities
- Operating edge banding machinery to produce high-quality caravan furniture components
- Feeding panels into machines and ensuring accurate edge finishing
- Completing visual quality checks and adjusting settings where required
- Using hand and power tools for any trimming or finishing tasks
- Supporting the furniture production and assembly process
- Handling materials and panels safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area in line with company standards
- Working to production deadlines and following instructions from team leaders
Requirements
- Previous experience operating edge bander machinery or similar equipment - essential
- Experience in the caravan or modular manufacturing industry - desirable
- Strong attention to detail and good understanding of quality standards
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Good team player with a positive attitude
