We are currently recruiting an experienced Carpet Fitter to join a busy and well-established caravan manufacturing site in East Hull (HU7). This is a hands-on role involving the fitting and finishing of carpets within caravans as part of the production process. The position is ideal for someone with proven carpet fitting experience, preferably within the caravan or modular manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measuring, cutting, and fitting carpets accurately within caravan units
  • Installing underlay where required and ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Trimming, edging, and securing carpets around fixtures and fittings
  • Working to drawings and specifications to meet production standards
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Working closely with other departments to meet production targets
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements
