Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on police intelligence and information systems.
- Review and process safeguarding disclosures, ensuring lawful and relevant information is shared.
- Assess and respond to safeguarding risks through effective collaboration with partner agencies.
- Compose detailed reports for Child and Adult Safeguarding meetings.
- Maintain an accurate record management system for audit purposes.
- Identify and escalate safeguarding risks, including child sexual exploitation.
- Assist with Op Encompass processes and relevant law disclosures.
What We're Looking For
- A-level education or equivalent experience in a safeguarding role.
- Understanding of Force intelligence processes and the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
- Strong ability to build rapport with partner agencies.
- Experience working to tight deadlines and managing priorities effectively.
- A foundational understanding of child and adult protection issues.
- Critical analytical skills to evaluate data and information.
- Due to Police Vetting Criteria you must have resided within the UK continuously for at least 5 years at the time of application.
Additional Information
Exposure to sensitive material may occur in this role, particularly when researching cases involving vulnerable individuals. You will complete mandatory Health & Safety training and a Police Staff Induction upon joining.
