This pivotal role is designed for an individual with a wealth of knowledge in property and construction procurement, who is ready to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities: As the Property Strategic Procurement Lead, you will: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in Property and Construction Procurement, offering specialist advice that aligns with the UK Government's Construction Playbook. Translate comprehensive market insights into actionable procurement strategies that support the Estates Transformation Programme. Identify and analyse emerging trends, supplier capabilities, and commercial opportunities to inform future procurement activities. Advise on the most suitable commercial delivery models, ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and internal governance frameworks. Act as a commercial interface between programme leadership, property teams, and various functions including Finance and Legal. Design and implement fit-for-purpose contracting models, including NEC and JCT arrangements, to enhance project success and collaboration. Manage risks associated with procurement processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality commercial advice to senior stakeholders.Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful candidate will have: Extensive knowledge and practical experience in facilities management and property maintenance, with a keen ability to analyse market trends. Proven experience with the UK Government's Construction Playbook, successfully translating its principles into actionable procurement strategies. Expertise in NEC and JCT contract terms, focusing on efficient project delivery and value for money.
